Room and Board Incentive Program
Effective Spring 2014, the University of Connecticut has been able to offer an Air Force ROTC room and board incentive program for certain qualified ROTC cadets enrolled at the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut, as funding permits.
An AFROTC cadet who meets the following qualifications shall be eligible for this incentive:
- be a sophomore, junior or senior
- be an active ROTC-awarded full or partial tuition scholarship and contracted with the Air Force ROTC for the semester in which the incentive is applied
- be enrolled at the Storrs campus of UConn
- and be housed in on-campus housing and/or utilizing a designated UConn meal plan with UConn Dining Services.
Sophomore cadets meeting the qualifications will receive room incentive of 25% based on the Rate 1 standard housing and board incentive of 25% based on the Custom Meal Plan; if a different meal plan is selected percentages may differ.
Junior and Senior cadets meeting the qualifications will receive room incentive of 50% based on the Rate 1 standard housing and board incentive of 50% based on the Custom Meal Plan; if a different meal plan is selected percentages may differ.
